Puttur: Police nab ganja case accused absconding for 5 years

Puttur: Police officials have arrested a man in connection with a 15-year-old ganja case.

The arrested accused has been identified as  Mohammed Basheer, a resident of Naringana.

He was arrested in 2009 in connection with a ganja case. Basheer was out on bail and had not appeared in court for the last five years.

Under the guidance of the Puttur town police inspector, Mohammed Basheer was taken into custody.
