A government school teacher who went absconding following a police complaint against him has been arrested from a hotel in Goa’s Panaji.
The teacher Mohammad Azaruddin has been accused of forcing the mother of his student into a physical relationship, circulating the video in Goa, and misbehaving with school children. Following the complaint, the Deputy Director of the Department of Public Instruction, Raichur district issued an order for Azaruddin’s suspension.
The victim in her complaint alleged that the accused teacher had promised to take tuition for her daughter and also assured her of getting some government facilities. He then forced her to have physical relations with him and recorded the private moments. He threatened the woman to cooperate with him otherwise he would make her video viral on social media. Later, he uploaded the video.
Police investigations revealed that the accused used to punish children severely and took pleasure in touching their private parts.
Police also suspect that he had forced many women to have physical relations with him and made videos to blackmail them.
