Ramanagara: Congress workers block highway, demand CM post for DKShi

Ramanagara: Local Congress workers, on Wednesday, staged a protest demanding that KPCC president DK Shivakumar be given the post of the Karnataka chief minister.
Congress workers, under the leadership of block Congress President Chetan Kumar, blocked the Mysuru-Bengaluru old highway in Ramanagara’s Ijuru circle in protest. The protestors were holding posters of Shivakumar and chanted slogans in support of the Congress leader.
Meanwhile, police have heightened security to prevent any untoward incident.
