Ramanagar: Missing trekker found dead

Ramanagara: A youth, who went missing during a trek in Savandurga was found dead on Thursday afternoon.

The deceased, Gagandeep Singh (30) hails from Uttar Pradesh and was working at a private firm in Bengaluru.

On Sunday, he and his friend embarked on the trek in Savandurga, but he went missing after losing his way.

A combined team of police, forest officials, and locals had been searching for Gagan for the past five days. They found his body following a trail of a foul odor.

Gagan’s family was devastated upon receiving the news of his demise. A case has been filed at Magadi police station.
