Belagavi: Former minister Satish Jarkiholi on Friday lashed out at brother Ramesh Jarkiholi stating that the latter join hands with BJP to make money.

Addressing presspersons here Satish said, “Ramesh joined BJP not because he was upset with the Congress party but to make money. He will join back to our party after BJP leaders repay all his loans.”

He further added, “Gokak will be developed on if the leadership in the region changes. If Supreme courts Verdict come in the favour of disqualified MLAs and  Ramesh contests the coming By-elections, then people of his constituency will teach him a lesson by not voting for him for betraying them.”

The then Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy on July 23 lost the trust vote in the Karnataka Assembly that had been put off by the ruling coalition for days.

The political crisis was triggered by a string of resignations by lawmakers of the ruling Congress and Janata Dal-Secular, reducing the 15-month-old rainbow coalition between two erstwhile rivals, to a minority.
