Recreational clubs raided by MCC officials for illegal activities

Mangaluru: Mangaluru City Corporation officials on Thursday, September 10 raided several recreational clubs in the city following complaints of illegal activities in the clubs.
Officials found that the Clubs had violated the rules and activities which were in the form of gambling were carried out.
Also, the Covid-19 guidelines and orders issued by the deputy commissioner of Dakshina Kannada district were also being overlooked.
Four places have been completely shut down and FIRs have been registered against these clubs in Surathkal, Pandeshwar, and Bunder police stations.
