Bengaluru: Renowned Kannada television director Vinod Dondale reportedly ended his life at his residence in Nagarabhavi on Saturday, July 20.
Vinod Dondale, who had directed episodes of popular Kannada serials like ‘Karimani,’ ‘Mouna Raga,’ and ‘Shantam Paapam,’ was preparing to make his debut in the Kannada film industry as a director. He was set to direct the film ‘Ashoka Blade,’ starring Satish Ninasam.
The shooting for the film was scheduled to begin next week. It is reported that Vinod had a discussion with the film crew just on Friday, July 19.
In addition to being a director, Vinod was also known as a producer. Reports suggest that he was struggling with debt.
Currently, a post-mortem examination is being conducted at Victoria Hospital. The police are investigating the exact reason behind Vinod’s death.
