RTO officials warn whiteboard taxi drivers of vehicle seizure

Sullia: On receiving confirmed information of whiteboard registered vehicles operating as taxis, the RTO officials have managed to slap fines on atleast 20 such vehicles.
Reportedly, these vehicles were ferrying passengers to and from Subramanya.
As per the sources, the RTO officials have warned the drivers from restraining such activities. The officials did not seize their vehicles but confiscated the vehicle documents in order not to cause inconvenience to passengers who were travelling from far-off places.
