Bengaluru: The Karnataka High Court on December 11 granted conditional bail to actress Sanjana Galrani, who was in judicial custody from the past 85 days in connection with the drugs case.
Sanjana’s lawyer had argued in the court that the actress was suffering from an illness and thus had to be granted bail.
Sanjana underwent surgery in 2018 and has been suffering from asthma and respiratory problems since 2019, her lawyer told the court.
Justice Srinivas Harish Kumar after hearing the arguments granted her bail and ordered the lawyer to submit Sanjana’s health checkup report.
