Scrap dealer attacked at Vamanjoor

Mangaluru: Rowdy-sheeters attacked a scrap dealer at Vamanjoor, for failing to pay ‘hafta’ on Sunday June 24th. The victim has been identified as Khalid (45), a resident of Ulaibettu and he was attacked by Rahif along with five accomplices.

The group of six including Rahif, Nawaz and Mustafa asked Khalid to pay them ‘hafta’ as Kahalid was closing his shop in the evening around 6pm. Khalid was abused and attacked with roads after he refused to pay heed to their demands.

The injured Khalid is receiving treatment at a hospital in Mangaluru. The accused Rahif and his gang are rowdy-sheeters and have many cases registered against them.
