Semi-nude video call by girl: Police registers case

Puttur: In the backdrop of a person sharing a video clip online, depicting a girl exhibiting her semi-nude body when making video call has gone viral on social media and Puttur police have registered suo moto case relating to this incident.

The video in question shows the girl in conversation with someone on video call and is seen showing off her body to the person at the other end of the call. The police say that the video has resulted in outraging the modesty of women and disturbed the people’s peace of mind.

A case has been registered against the girl and also those who have shared the video.
