Two persons were killed on the spot while a pregnant woman sustained injuries in a road mishap in front of Pranav Hotel on National Highway 44 under Peresandra Police jurisdictional limits here on Saturday.
The mishap took place after the canter driver lost control of his vehicle while trying to avoid a collision with a car. His vehicle rammed into a bike and went on to hit the on-duty hotel security person rider and five other vehicles parked here.
The bike rider Janardhan and guard Narayanaswamy died on the spot while a pregnant woman and her father sustained injuries. The injured have been admitted to the hospital for treatment.
