Serial accident on Pavanje bridge; woman injured

Haleyangadi: A woman has been severely injured in a serial accident involving an auto-rickshaw, bus, and lorry on the Pavanje bridge on Friday, December 23.

The injured has been identified as Saraswathi, a resident of Mangaluru.

It is said that the accident occurred when Saraswathi was going to Bappanadu temple along with her husband in an auto-rickshaw.

A bus going towards Udupi rammed into their rickshaw leaving Saraswathi injured. Following this, a lorry hit the bus,  leading to a collision. The three vehicles involved in the accident suffered damages.

Saraswathi has been admitted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
