Sexual assault on underage step-daughter; accused arrested

Belthangady: A step-father who sexually assaulted an underage girl has been arrested by Belthangady police.

The father of two children has left his wife and was living with the divorced woman. It is said that when no one was at home, the accused sexually assaulted the daughter of the divorced woman. Since it was a holiday for school and college, the accused cunningly took the girl to the market, from where he took her to a hill where he used her sexually.

The girl later informed her mother and a complaint was given to the police. Immediate action was taken by the police and the accused was arrested.
