Shivamogga: Muslim leader named Nazarullah Sheikh from Tipu Nagar has expressed his distress over the ‘silence’ of veteran Congress leader and former chief minister Siddaramaiah and KPCC president D K Shivakumar over the Savarkar v/s Tipu Sultan flex row in the city.

Nazarullah shared the video on Facebook on Wednesday, August 17 night, which has gone viral.

In the video, he can be seen alleging Siddaramaiah and DKShi by saying,” There are a lot of so-called leaders in the Congress party. When Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra are in trouble, you people protest. You’ll also protest when Youth Congress president Srinivas is in trouble. But have no time to protest when it comes to arresting their own corporator’s husband. Where are the leaders? Are we only for votes?”

“We are really upset about the functioning of the Congress party. Think twice before you campaign the next time for votes in Tipu Nagar” he warned.
