Udupi: Slamming Siddaramaiah as “delusional” Chief minister (CM) Basavaraj Bommai on Monday said that people have rejected them because of their divide-and-rule policy.
Bommai who arrived in Udupi for Jan Sankalp Yatra spoke to reporters at Ambalpady.
Bommai said, “Siddaramaiah is delusional. He thinks that the Congress party will win the next elections. Earlier, he had said neither Yediyurappa nor Kumaraswamy will be the CM of Karnataka. He had also said that Congress will regain power and he will be the CM. But, as we all know none of these ‘predictions’ have come true.”
Reacting to AICC president Mallikarjuna Kharge’s statement, he said, “Congress is a corrupt party, Infact, it is the Gangotri of corruption. They make false accusations to cover up their sins.”
Bommai also said that the Jan Sankalp Yatra has begun today and he has plans of visiting all 224 constituencies.
