Sindhu Rupesh, new DC of Dakshina Kannada district

Mangaluru: In the backdrop of the sudden resignation by DK Deputy Commissioner Sasikanth Senthil on Friday, Sindhu B Rupesh has been appointed as the new DC of Dakshina Kannada district.

The state government in a communication dated Friday, September 6, transferred Sindhu Rupesh to Mangaluru as DC. She was serving as the CEO of Udupi zilla panchayat till now.

Sindhu is a BE graduate from Mysuru and IAS officer from 2011 batch. She secured first rank in the civil service exam in the state.
