Soon KSRP personnel to be training with Scotland Yard and American police depts

Belagavi: Home Minister Basavaraj Bommai said that the government is planning to conduct exchange programs with Britain’s Scotland Yard, American police departments, and other foreign police services to provide training for Karnataka State Reserve Police (KSRP) personnel.
He was speaking after inspecting the passing parade of the 6th special police constables of the KSRP at Police Training School here.
Addressing the graduates, Bommai said that the State’s police training courses are the best compared to other States. adding that more facilities would be provided to the KSRP personnel . A further 16,000 police personnel will be recruited in the next two years, he added.
The training of the graduating 187 cadets in the School had to be extended as 52 of them contracted COVID-19.
KSRP Additional Director General of Police Alok Kumar and KSRP Police Training School’s Principal Ramesh Borgav were present during the ceremony.
