Sowjanya rape and murder Case: BJP MLAs to hold protest demanding fresh inquiry

State BJP president Nalin Kumar Kateel said that BJP MLAs representing Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts will be holding a protest, in order to seek a fresh inquiry into Sowjanya rape and murder case.

The protest is scheduled to take place on August 27 in front of the Beltangadi taluk office.

Informing about the protest and Nalin indicated that the MLAs intend to request the Chief Minister and the Governor for action following the protest.

The primary objective of the protest is to advocate for justice on behalf of the family of the victim, Sowjanya.
