Speeding car kills biker on spot

Bengaluru: A speeding car killed a 21 year old biker and injures the pillion rider near KIA road in Yelahanka traffic police station limits on Thursday.

The biker, Sahadev Reddy, a native of Andhra Pradesh and the pillion rider Sunil both worked as contractors in a private company. They were rushed to the hospital, where Sahadev was declared brought dead. Sunil is said to be out of danger.

The Yelahanka traffic police have arrested the accused car driver, Ezhil Venu, 46, who worked as customs superintendent at the airport.

Sahadev and Sunil were heading to work in the morning and the accident took place at around 9 am on a service road next to KIA road the police said.
