SSLC: Konkani language 100% result

Mangaluru: With the assistance of World Konkani Centre situated at Shaktinagar in the city, 16 schools from Mangaluru to Karwar provide Konkani language as third language. This time, 543 students were pursuing the language of which 60 students have earned 100% marks in the SSLC exams.

Shrinidhi Kharvi of S.V. School in Gangoli earned 99% marks, Rishal Norhona and Isha D’Souza of St. Lawrence School Moodabelle earned 98% and Mangalore’s Dilipa Baliga of Nalanda School and Pratiksha Churya of Canara School earned 97% marks.

World Konkani Centre will give 1000 rupees scholarship to all these students and Konkani teachers to 16 schools, informed president Basti Vaman Shenoy.
