State govt sanctioned Rs.5 lakh to the families of Sharath and Ashraf

Mangaluru: Food and civil supplies minister UT Khader said that the State government sanctioned a compensation of Rs.5 lakh each to the families of SDPI worker Ashraf Kalai and RSS worker Sharath Madiwala.

Addressing media here Khader said, “State Government has sanctioned to provide Rs.5 lakh as compensation to the kin of Ashraf Kalai and Sharath Madiwala,”

“The compensation cheques will be handed over to the two families by DK District in-charge Minister B Ramanatha Rai within the next few days,” he added.

Khader had earlier assured of helping the family from the government funds.
