Sullia: The body of a young man was discovered on Monday morning in the school grounds near Sullia.

The deceased was found in the Kanthamangala government school grounds in Ajjawara village, Sullia taluk. The man, estimated to be between 25 and 30 years old, was found with a stone on his head.

Police officers, including Sullia Vritta Inspector Satyanarayana, are investigating the scene.

This incident follows another recent crime where a woman was murdered last Sunday in the Bellare police station jurisdiction. In that case, the assailant also used a stone to strike the victim’s head and was subsequently arrested.
