Suzuki introduces new drum brake alloy wheel variant of Access 125

Suzuki has introduced a new alloy wheel version of the drum brake variant of its Access 125 scooter. Priced at Rs.59,891 (ex-showroom, New Delhi), the new drum brake alloy wheel variant of the Suzuki Access 125 is available in 4 colour shades – Pearl Suzuki Deep Blue, Glass Sparkle Black, Metallic Matt Fibroin Gray and Pearl Mirage White.

Commenting on the launch, Mr. Devashish Handa, Vice President – Sales, Marketing & After-Sales, Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd. said, “We are delighted to introduce the new alloy wheel with drum brake variant of Suzuki Access 125. Lately, we have witnessed increased demand for alloy wheel option, and the new variant is launched keeping customer preference in mind. Suzuki Access 125 has proven its mettle and emerged as a preferred family scooter in India. We are hopeful that the new variant will add more customers to Suzuki family.”

Mechanically, the new alloy wheel variant of the Suzuki Access 125 remains the same with an all-aluminium, 4-stroke, single cylinder 124cc engine which produces 8.7PS @ 7,000rpm and 10.2Nm @ 5,000rpm. The engine comes with cutting edge Suzuki Eco Performance technology that offers an impressive fuel efficiency of 64kmpl (ARAI). The M-Squish combustion chamber further enhances the engine performance.

The new variant is equipped with Suzuki easy start system, long seat and enlarged floor board for a relaxed riding position. Furthermore, the scooter is designed with chrome plate finish, stylish headlamp, digital meter, oil change indicator and dual trip meter; making it a stylish as well as a utilitarian offering for all riders. Also, it comes up with Combined Brake System (CBS), Central Locking and unique Safety Shutter for its security.

A Special Edition of this new variant has also been launched at a price of Rs.61,590 (ex-showroom, New Delhi). It will be available in the existing four colours of the Access 125 including Matte Bordeaux Red, Metallic Matte Black, Metallic Sonic Silver and Pearl Mirage White.

The Access 125 is one of the best selling scooters in India, next to the Honda Activa 125. It toughly competes with the likes of the Honda Grazia and the TVS Ntorq 125 scooters.
