As the whole world fights the pandemic, schools have remained closed for more than two years now. An intense research study is required to be conducted to really know the long-term impact Coronavirus has on various age groups. It is why the vaccine is currently available for adults (18 and above) only.

The COVID-19 cases have now decreased and schools and colleges are about to open across the country, educators and teachers need to upgrade their skills.

On the occasion of Teachers’ day, we have curated below a list of apps that can assist teachers in improving their knowledge and some tools teachers can use to help make their jobs a little easier.

1) Inko › Interactive Whiteboard

This lets users draw together using multiple iPad, iPhone,s or Mac, and even interact on Apple TV. Ideal for team coworkers in a brainstorming session, for a creative classroom project, or for an interactive meeting between a graphic designer and their clients. It is a great alternative to those bulky and expensive interactive boards.

2) Schoolwork

This app lets students to a specific activity in an app, collaborate with students, and view student progress. Teachers can create and send out a class announcement, a study reminder, or an assignment.

3) Additio – Teacher gradebook

This app lets teachers plan their presentations and also grade students. It centralises all the classroom management in a simple and easy-to-use app. This is a flexible multi-device tool available on web versions, tablets, and smartphones.

4) TED App

From politics to philosophy, TED has cataloged thousands of hours of talks and presentations from some of the world’s most interesting people.

Volunteer-hosted TED Circles let a small group of people watch a particular TED talk, then discuss it amongst themselves. Form a circle with your class or have your students form their own to dive deeper into important and controversial topics.

5) Explain Everything

Explain Everything gives you a blank canvas to work with and lets you do everything from write on it to drop in animations to explain your latest lesson. It allows recording videos of your lessons for students who learn better visually, and let them record their own to send back.
