Taking to Twitter Tejasvi on Sunday, April 12 wrote, ” My office, along with BBMP, will enable 1,926 shops to deliver essentials to 2.5L households in B’luru South with COVID-19 Home Delivery helpline. The number is 080-61914960. Please save it and also spread the word. Your health and safety continue to remain our top priority.”

Appreciating Tejasvi’s initiative, BBMP Commissioner Anil Kumar wrote, “This is a very good initiative that has been launched today for south Bengaluru citizens. BBMP will expand this service to other parts of the city over the next few days.”

Replying to Anil’s comment Tejasvi said, “I thank BBMP for their support in this first of a kind initiative. Usage of technology in governance must be a top priority for all government agencies, more so in a city like Bengaluru. Let Bengaluru contribute innovative governance models to the country!”
