Thirthahalli: Severed cow head found in Tunga river

In a shocking incident that came to light on Thursday, a few unidentified miscreants threw a cow head into the Tunga river.
The locals discovered the horrific incident when they went down to the Tunga river stream for a bath.
The incident took place in the vicinity of the Rameshwar temple on the Tunga river, which is the convergence point of the holy tirthas of Sankhatheertha, Chakratheertha, Gadatheertha, and Padmatheertha.
CPI Ashwath Gowda, health officer Ramesh and others visited the site and conducted an inspection.
