Ticket to Shivamogga: KE Kantesh meets BSY

Bengaluru: Days after KS Eshwarappa announced political retirement, former chief minister BS Yediyurappa called his son KE Kantesh and had an important discussion.

Kantesh, a former member of GP held talks with Yediyurappa in Bengaluru.

Yediyurappa is a member of the Central Parliamentary Board. It is said that they talked about the yet-to-be-announced Shivamogga Constituency ticket issue and the outrage of the activists.

According to sources, Kantesh requested BS Yediyurappa to give him the Shivamogga ticket as per the wishes of the party workers.

Kantesh also met state BJP in-charge Arun Singh and state president Nalin Kumar Kateel.

It is reported that senior leaders have spoken in appreciation of Eshwarappa’s decision to retire.
