Suresh Raina holds the record of being the first-ever Indian batsman to reach 5,000-run mark in IPL. He also holds the record of the maximum number of catches in IPL with 102 to his kitty. Raina also has the feather of being first and only player who scored over 400 runs in seven consecutive seasons of the Indian Premier League.

 

5.   Robin Uthappa

Robin Uthappa may not have a very bright career in international cricket, but has always been extremely reliable and consistent in domestic cricket and IPL. His presence at the top of the order for the Kolkata Knight Riders team has been confidence boosting.

Robin Utthapa has scored an aggregate of 4607 runs in the IPL tournament so far at an average of 27.92. He has batted in 182 innings so far and hit 163 sixes. He has also hit 454 fours so far, which is more than notable batsmen, like Chris Gayle, AB de Villiers, and MS Dhoni.
