Mangaluru: In a high-level meeting presided by district in-charge minister Kota Srinivas Poojary and other higher officials of the district it was decided to declare a bandh on March 28.
This move supposedly comes in view of the rising number of COVID-19 positive cases in neighbouring Kasargod district and also in Dakshina Kannada as well as in Uttara Kannada district.
All commercial and financial activities in the district will be banned throughout the day.
