Tourist car-bus collision claims life of car driver, 6 suffer severe injuries

Sagar: One person was killed and six others were seriously injured in a ghastly collision between a tourist car and bus that occurred near here on Monday.

The deceased has been identified as Shabaz (23), the driver of the ill-fated car.

The injured were identified as Rihan (14), Tabassum (23), Shifa (27), Qamarunnisa (45), Jabrun (55), and Mohammad Usman (25) — all members of the same family. They are being treated at McGann Hospital.

It is learned that the family was returning from Jog Falls at the time of the accident.

Meanwhile, the Sagar Rural Police have assessed the situation.
