Tulu actor Sadashiva Salian passes away

Mangaluru: Veteran Tulu actor and director Sadashiva Salian expired on Sunday, July 8th.
Sadashiva Salian has directed more than 500 Tulu, Hindi, and Marathi plays. He entered Tulu cinemathrough his contact with drama actor K.N. Tailor. Salian had acted in KN Tailor’s Tulu movie ‘Bhagyavantedi’, ‘Badkere Budle’ directed by Ram Shetty, and ‘Dareda Seere’ and ‘Satya Olundu’ directed by Ravi N Kanchan.
Salian has directed two movies, namely ‘Pettai Pili’ and ‘Onte Adjust Malpule’. He eventually abstained from playing movie rules due to health issues.
Sadashiva Salian hails from Tenka Yermal in Udupi and at an early age, migrated to Mumbai. He graduated from Chinmaya College, Andheri and later join Central Bank of India in Mumbai. He married Susheela and the couple has two children.
