Tuluvas, troll pages go berserk over Nepalese ‘Pukuli Maya’ song

Mangaluru: A Nepali song ‘Pukuli Maya’ has been creating quite some sensation among Tulu-speaking people.

The song, released on YouTube six months garnered a lot of comments from Tuluvas and has now even made it to the troll pages.

The reason for this undue attention to a song in a foreign language may drive you crazy as well. Well, Pukuli in Tulu implies buttocks, and Maya means disappear.

The comments sections on the YouTube page were flooded with bizarre comments ranging from few asking people to join the singer in searching for his Pukuli to others wondering how the guy would poop.

As the song has gone viral in this part of the town, the singer, in a post has said that he has come to know that Pukuli Maya means something else in Tulu language and added that Pukuli means pretty and Maya means love in their language.
