Tumakuru bus accident: Driver arrested

Tumakuru: The driver of the private bus that overturned killing six people and injuring over 40 others at Palavalli village of Pavagada taluk has been arrested by the city police.
The arrested is Raghu. He who was allegedly speeding and driving recklessly had fled after the accident.
According to preliminary information, negligence by overloading and high speed in the accident zone led to the mishap.
Following the accident, Chief Minister had decided to give Rs 5 lakh as compensation to the family members of the deceased, on behalf of the government.
