Tumakuru: Father, 5-year-old daughter killed in car-lorry collision; Another critically injured

Tumakuru‎‎: A‎‎ father-daughter duo was killed on the spot while another child was seriously injured when a car in which they were travelling collided with a lorry near Tharoor Gate in Shira taluk here.

‎The incident took place under Kallambella police station limits on Friday night.‎

‎The deceased have been identified as Avinash (28), and his daughter Prananti (5).‎

‎The car was on its way to Tumakuru when it crashed into the rear of a lorry. Another child, identified as Soumya, sustained serious injuries and has been admitted to a hospital.‎

Police have registered a case and are investigating.‎
