Tumakuru: Father, 5-year-old daughter killed in car-lorry collision; Another critically injured

Tumakuru: A father-daughter duo was killed on the spot while another child was seriously injured when a car in which they were travelling collided with a lorry near Tharoor Gate in Shira taluk here.
The incident took place under Kallambella police station limits on Friday night.
The deceased have been identified as Avinash (28), and his daughter Prananti (5).
The car was on its way to Tumakuru when it crashed into the rear of a lorry. Another child, identified as Soumya, sustained serious injuries and has been admitted to a hospital.
Police have registered a case and are investigating.
