Two arrested for looting a person at knife point at Jokatte

Jokatte: Two persons were arrested by the Panambur Police in association with the Mangaluru South Anti-Rowdy Squad on the charges of   looting a person at knife point near the Jokatte Railway track.

Te arrested are identified as Naushad Adam alias Naushu alias Bullet (25) and Naufal (31) of Kasba Bengre. Another accused Azhar is absconding. Police have seized Rs 1,500 in cash, three mobile phones, a Honda Activa and a knife from the arrested persons.

The incident

On November 9 at around 11 pm , a person named Zalkhan was walking  near the railway track when the accused came on a Honda Activa, waylaid him and robbed him of Rs 10,000 cash and two mobile phones after  brandishing a knife.
