Two held after video of 70-yr-old woman being assaulted by son, grandson goes viral

Belthangady: Belthangady police arrested two persons after a video of them assaulting a 70-year-old woman went viral on social media.

The arrested Srinivas Shetty and his son Pradeep Shetty happen to be the son and grandson of the victim. The incident took place at Savanaalu.

Belthangady police investigated the incident after the video went viral and arrested the duo under section 323, 504 IPC, and 24 Senior Citizen Act 2007.
