The Udayavani special edition, which brought out the essence, is highly anticipated by readers. The memories of reading the special edition with illustrations and satirical images are still vivid, said Gurudath Shenoy, Managing Partner, Mukund MGM Reality and Vertex Workspace, Mangaluru.
Deepavali Dhamaka draw has given a golden sheen to Udayavani’s Deepavali Special Edition, he added.
He was speaking at an event held on Friday at the Udayavani headquarters in Manipal where the winners of the “Deepavali Dhamaka-2023” organized by Udayavani under sponsorship from SL Shate Diamond House Ladyhill Mangaluru were selected through a lucky draw.
“Udayavani, supporting the holistic development of society for the past 52 years, has nurtured and encouraged young entrepreneurs like me. May this progress continue, fostering numerous successful ventures with the newspaper’s support,” Shenoy said.
Manipal Media Network Ltd. Executive Chairman T. Satish U. Pai said that Udayavani is among the foremost publications that started the Deepavali special edition. Udayavani’s Special edition has always stood out for its distinctive presentation, selection of stories, narratives, articles, and page layouts, year after year, establishing itself as a cherished edition among readers. This year, too, it has received tremendous success, he added.
MMNL Vice-President (National Head-Magazine and Special Initiatives) Ramachandra Mijar said that it is a matter of pride that the readers have participated in this competition in great numbers. Several readers have won gold worth lakhs of rupees in the past draws. Similarly, the selection process has been conducted transparently this year also, he said.
Usharani Kamath, Manager of Human Resources, extended a warm welcome, while Deputy Editor Rajesh Mulki delivered the vote of thanks.
