Udupi: BJP Mahila Morcha activist commits suicide

Udupi: A 48-year-old woman ended her life by hanging herself at her home at Kukkikatte on Tuesday, September 14.
The deceased has been identified as Asha Shetty, she was a member of the BJP district Mahila Morcha.
A death note was found near her body in which she said to donate her eyes.
Her body was taken to Manipal hospital for the preservation of her eyes.
A case was registered at the town police station here relating to the death.
BJP Mahila Morcha district president Veena S Shetty, secretary Rakshita Shetty and Malabar Gold jewellery store consumer relations officer Hafiz Rehman arrived the spot of incident.
