Udupi: District to be COVID-19 free soon?

Udupi: The two remaining COVID-19 positive cases in the district are recovering. Their samples were sent for testing and the results of one of them has come negative while the other’s is pending.

After the recovery of both these patients, Udupi district will be COVID-19 free.

A patient is discharged after two tests of their samples results negative. First samples of both the patients have already been sent for testing and the second one will be sent in a few days.

Presently, there are 31 COVID-19 suspects admitted in isolation wards in the districts. 33 test reports were received on April 12, all negative and 44 samples test report are pending.
