Udupi: KSRTC campaign to raise Covid awareness receives high praise

Team Udayavani, Dec 13, 2021, 9:51 AM IST

Udupi: The district administration has bolstered its efforts to ensure that everyone in the district takes both doses of the Covid vaccine, thereby achieving 100 percent vaccination.

Now, Karnataka State Road Trasport Corporation Ltc (KSRTC) has given its support to the vaccination campaign. Tickets issued on the government buses now carry a message for the public —  “two doses of Covid-19 vaccination compulsory, wear masks compulsorily.”

Udupi deputy commissioner Koorma Rao M applauded the unique initiative by KSRTC to raise awareness among passengers. He took to Twitter and shared the tickets.

He also requested the private and public organizations to take up similar initiatives and join hands with the district administration in raising public awareness about the need for vaccination.
