A viral video of a leopard preying on a pet dog has created a sense of fear among the residents in Herga village here.
The incident reportedly took place at the residence of Balachandra K, a resident of Golikatte in Herga village and was caught on the CCTV camera.
In the footage, the leopard can be seen sneaking towards the dog and then carrying it away by holding to its neck.
Incidents of leopard attacks on poultry animals and dogs were reported from this area in the past too.
