Udupi: One dead, another injured in serial road accident at Kumbhashi

Udupi: In a tragic incident one person lost his life while another sustained serious injuries in a serial accident that occurred on Sunday in Kumbhashi, Udupi. The accident involved a Mahindra Thar vehicle, a bicycle, a scooter, and a bike.

The deceased has been identified as Nagaraj Devadiga (40) from Thekkatte. The injured person has been identified as cycle rider Krishna Devadiga, a resident of Kumbhashi, who was immediately rushed to Manipal Hospital for treatment.

The negligence of the driver of the Mahindra Thar reportedly resulted in the accident.

The harrowing visuals of the accident were captured on CCTV cameras installed at the nearby Sri Chandika temple.

Local police reached the accident spot and have taken up the investigation.
