Udupi: Police raid house for loud music till late night

Udupi Town police conducted a raid at a house in Kunjibettu for blasting loud music and seized 4 loudspeakers, DJ and lighting equipment.
Following a complaint about the loud music till around 2 am on February 26, police arrived at the residence of Sharath near Paniyadi Anantapadmanabha temple of 76 Badgabettu village where a Mehendi function was ongoing.
The accused had arranged for a DJ but did not seek any license or prior permission.
