Udupi rains: DC declares holiday for schools, colleges on July 5

Udupi: The Udupi District Deputy Commissioner Kurma Rao M has declared a holiday for schools and colleges on Tuesday, July 5.
The heavy downpour continued unabated on Monday night prompting the district administration to declare a holiday as a precaution.
Officials in Udupi have been asked to stay alert as incessant rainfall in the past two days and warnings of more wet days ahead have triggered fears of floods.
