Ujire child abduction case: Police rescues boy

Ujire: Police have successfully rescued 8-year-old Anubhav within 48 hours of his abduction from Ujire’s Car Street here.
6 abductors were arrested by a special squad of Mangaluru police with the support of Kolar Superintendent of Police, Kartik Reddy at 5 am on Saturday, December 19 after locating them within Maasti police station limits near Kolar.
The boy was kept in a house at Koorna Hosahalli in Malur taluk. All the four kidnappers, an accomplice and the person who provided the house for keeping the boy in confinement have been arrested. The kidnappers reached the village in Kolar with the boy on Friday night, sources said.
It is reported that the abductors will be produced in the court in Kolar at 11 pm and later at the court in Belthangady by the police team headed by Circle Inspector Sandesh PG, Sub Inspector Bandakumar and Dharmasthala station Sub Inspector Pavan Kumar.
