Ullal: 2 arrested for peddling MDMA

Ullal: Ullal police intercepted two persons near Uchhila Reliance Petrol Pump when they were allegedly transporting the banned narcotics MDMA. They have now been arrested.

The accused have been identified as Mohammed Khalid (39) of Azad Nagar 1st Cross in Ullal and Likith (21) of Manjeshwar.

The duo was intercepted when traveling in a Deo scooter from Talapady toward Uchila Petrol Pump. A packet containing 10 grams of MDMA worth Rs 20,000, a mobile phone worth Rs 25000, and a scooter worth Rs 50,000 were confiscated from them, police added.

Police said the duo had prior run-ins with the law and have cases of attempt to murder and ganja sale of ganja registered against them at the Ullal police station.
