Ullal: Bike-lorry collision on NH 66 claims life of bike rider

Ullal: In a bike-lorry collision on NH 66, a bike rider has died on spot, here on Friday, September 16.

The deceased is identified as Nithin M D, a resident of Kasargod’s Neerchal-Manya.

He was working in a solar company in Kasargod.

Reportedly, Nithin was travelling to Kumble from Mangaluru. He has tried to avoid the barricading on Kumpala Bypass, during which a fish carrier (lorry) travelling from Malpe to Kasaragod, rammed into his bike from behind. Due to the impact, he died instantly.

As per the sources, Nithin used his friend’s bike to travel to Mangaluru on duty on Friday (September 16). The accident occurred while he was returning to Kasargod.

Meanwhile, the Mangaluru South Traffic Police assessed the situation

Nithin is survived by his father, mother and two brothers.
