Ullal: In a case of reported eve-teasing at Ullal here, locals held a 16-year-old youth for harassing a woman pedestrian and handed him over to the police on Friday, January 15.

According to the locals, many cases of eve-teasing and sexual harassment cases were being reported in the area for the past 15 days. Bike-borne miscreants were touching women pedestrians, walking on the Ulyakki-Bandikotya-Goliyadi route, in an appropriate manner, alleged the residents.

While handing over the minor to the police, locals demanded that strict action be taken against him.
