Ullal: Youth injured in hit-and-run case

A bike rider was left seriously injured after being struck by a car that fled the scene in Ullal on Saturday night.
The victim, identified as Tejas Rama Kulal, a 28-year-old resident of Kotekaru Vaidyanath temple road, was on his way home when an unidentified vehicle traveling towards Kerala collided with his bike and immediately fled the scene.
The impact of the collision left Tejas with severe injuries, and he was promptly rushed to a private hospital in Deralkatte for urgent medical attention.
The local authorities have managed to trace the record of the responsible vehicle, a Kerala registered Innova car, through CCTV footage.
